The artist candidly admitted that he had not treated women well in the past. This self-awareness led him to the realization that he had, in his own words, “robbed some women of their baby-making years.”

Delving into how he conducted these relationships, Jidenna explained, “If you were a creative, I folded you into my artwork.” He emphasized integrating personal relationships into his creative process, providing jobs and support.
According to him, this extended to offering housing, food, and all necessary provisions, believing he was fulfilling the role of a provider.
