In a surprising turn of events, a historic brass bell weighing around 110kg was reported stolen from Groot Constantia estate in Cape Town on Monday, September 2nd.
This iconic bell, a significant part of the estate’s history, was taken without a trace.
The Search for the Bell
The estate has reached out to the public through social media, urging anyone with information about the bell’s location to come forward.
This bell, measuring between 30 and 35cm in height and width, holds historical value and its absence is keenly felt by the community.
