It appears certain that Kaizer Chiefs will acquire a new winger during the upcoming January transfer window. Reports indicate that the club is evaluating three potential candidates.

Winger Options Under Consideration

According to Soccer Laduma, the first choice is Owsin Appollis (23) from Polokwane City, followed by AmaZulu’s Tshepang Moremi (24) and Asanele Velebayi (21) from Cape Town Spurs.

An insider revealed, “There are several factors at play, including the new head of scouting overseeing both the first team and the youth development. These players could greatly benefit the team.”

The source added, “They are closely monitoring the progress of these players. While Velebayi is on the list and has performed well this season, he is not the top priority. Appollis and Moremi are the preferred options, but the decision regarding Velebayi will depend on how things unfold in January.”
