Senator Hope Uzodimma, His Excellency, has lauded the Imo State Anti-Kidnapping Squad Command for its services to maintaining peace and security in the state.
Governor Uzodimma received the recognition during a visit to the Anti-Kidnapping Squad of the Imo State Police Command. The Governor congratulated them for destroying camps of ‘unknown gunmen’ retrieving caches of illicit fire arms used to incite disturbance and kill innocent inhabitants of the State.
The Governor pledged the gallant men and women of his unwavering support in the fight against crime and the preservation of the state’s peace and stability.
Governor Uzodimma used the opportunity to call on Ndi Imo to be part of the fight against crime and criminality in the State by volunteering information on suspects or suspicious activities to the security agencies, as it is the business of all stakeholders working with Government to stamp out crime and criminality in Imo State.
“Shared Prosperity requires shared responsibility” Uzodimma stated.
