Anambra State Governor – elect Soludo Felicitates With New Bishop Of Nnewi Catholic Diocese, Most Reverend Okoye

Anambra State Governor-Elect, Professor Chukwuma Soludo has felicitated with the new Bishop of Nnewi Catholic Diocese, Most Reverend Jonas-Benson Okoye on his successful installation ceremony.

Correspondent Valentine Mbadugha reports that the governor-elect, who was present at Our Lady of Assumption Cathedral Nnewi to witness the installation defined the occasion as divinely.

He congratulated the new Bishop and prayed God to fortify him with all the empowerment that will enable him shoulder his new responsibility with less stress.

While describing Bishop Okoye as a man of honour, who is much committed to the service of God and humanity, Professor Soludo encouraged him to double his effort as greater position comes with greater responsibility.

The governor-elect also commended the Bishop Emeritus, Most Reverend Hillary Okeke for his impact in the diocese and prayed God to bless him with long life and good health.
