The Minister of Higher Education, Science And Innovation to visit Edendale Hospital Vaccination Centre
The Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, Dr Blade Nzimande, invites members of the media to his visit to the Edendale Hospital vaccination centre in Pietermaritzburg as part of government drive to encourage members of the public to vaccinate.
During his visit, Minister Nzimande will get a briefing from the hospital regarding their vaccination drive. The Minister will also get his covid-19 booster shot.
Laboratory testing has shown that booster shots increase antibody levels, which are more effective at neutralising the COVID-19 variants.
Members of the media are invited to join the Minister and the hospital management as follows:
