The dates for the next edition of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) were announced shortly after the delayed 2021 edition concluded in Cameroon.
Senegal, Africa’s top-ranked nation, won their first AFCON title on Sunday, defeating Egypt 4-2 on penalties to earn their first AFCON title.
The next edition of Africa’s greatest football event will be held in Ivory Coast from June 23 to July 23, 2023, according to preliminary schedules.
It will be the 34th edition of the tournament which was first held in Sudan in 1957.
