1. Pumpkin Spice: A Cliché to Avoid
Pumpkin spice, with its warm blend of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove, is an autumn favorite. However, Heidi Stojanovic, co-founder of Foton Candles, considers it a cliché that might overwhelm your living space.
To maintain a cozy atmosphere without going overboard, consider a more neutral scent like cardamom, known for its luxurious aroma.
Cardamom is a spice derived from the seeds of select plants and can add a touch of opulence to your home.
2. Sugar Cookie: Not Quite Sophisticated
While sugar cookie is a popular seasonal scent, it may not exude sophistication. The notes of warm buttery vanilla sugar can be overpowering.
