Global coronavirus cases cross 526.42 million

WASHINGTON, 1st June, 2022 (WAM) — The global COVID-19 case tally reached 526.42 million with 6,701,380 deaths recorded to date, according to a Reuters tally on Wednesday.

Infections have been reported in more than 210 countries and territories since the first cases were identified in China in December 2019.
