Heather Mills Reveals How Irish Travellers Devastated Her Vegan Food Factories in London While She Fights to Save VBites

Heather Mills has never been one to back down from a fight, but these days, the former model and activist is facing a challenge she didn’t anticipate.

Speaking at a vegan food event in London’s East End, she opened up about her struggle with VBites, the plant-based company she founded.

“We’ve had a really difficult time,” Mills admitted. “Irish travellers trashed two of our three factories, three times in the last 18 months – it is a nightmare.”

Though she did not provide specifics about the damage, Mills stressed her commitment to the vegan movement, which inspired her to create the business.

Her vision was to turn County Durham into a hub for plant-based innovation, calling it her own “Silicon Valley of vegan food.”

After VBites went into administration in 2023, Mills personally invested in a rescue effort last year, even forgoing nearly £5 million owed to her to keep the company afloat.

“Veganism changes people’s lives,” she said. “I never took a penny from vegan businesses.

The money goes to charities I support around the world.”

Life Beyond Business: Heather’s Personal Journey

At 57, Mills has not let personal setbacks slow her down.

After losing her left leg below the knee, she took up competitive skiing, eventually earning a Guinness World Record as the fastest disabled female skier.

She is now in a relationship with Mick Dickman, 39, affectionately described by Mills as a “toyboy” who has embraced veganism.

Mills emphasized the couple share not just personal life, but a commitment to plant-based living.

Lily Allen Channels Diana with Striking Fashion Choice

Across London, pop star Lily Allen made waves at the 16Arlington x Antony Price salon show by wearing a dramatic black gown reminiscent of Princess Diana’s famous “revenge dress.”

Allen’s outfit, created by the same designer as the late princess’ iconic ensemble, echoed the spirit of reclaiming power through style.

Fashion experts have compared Diana’s choice to the dark, commanding swan Odile from Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake, highlighting a message of assertive strength through visual storytelling.

Royal Smiles Behind the Scenes

Royal photographer Hugo Burnand offered insights into Queen Elizabeth’s demeanor in official portraits.

Despite public perception, Burnand described the late monarch as having a warm smile, often concealed in formal photographs.

His colleague, Cambridge Jones, added that the Queen preferred to control the narrative of her public image, showing joy selectively during interactions rather than in official portraits.

Missteps in the BBC Archives

Jimmy Mulville reflected on his experience producing a show with Anne Robinson, recalling it as the “weakest link” in his career.

He noted the difficulty of booking guests who were intimidated by Robinson’s intimidating reputation, describing an atmosphere where even accepting a call from her felt like a major concession.

Prince Harry Ventures into Real Estate

Meanwhile, Prince Harry is branching out into a new realm: real estate.

The Duke of Sussex is scheduled to speak at the Power House conference in Toronto next month, sharing insights on housing markets and property policy.

Organizers pitched his experience as a chance for estate agents to learn from a high-profile insider, though his Canadian property experience is largely tied to visits to his wife Meghan’s Toronto home.

Liam Gallagher’s Oasis Earnings Soar

Music fans received exciting news as Liam Gallagher revealed earnings of £5.2 million for Will Power Touring, his company managing Oasis’ comeback shows.

The figures, covering nine months of activity, suggest Gallagher received a substantial advance prior to performances, highlighting the lucrative nature of the band’s reunion.

Despite being sacked from Red Bull earlier this year, Horner shared a cheerful photo online thanking fans for their birthday wishes, showing resilience and positivity in his personal life.
