Kuwait reports 1,501 new COVID-19 cases, 1 death

KUWAIT, 17th February, 2022 – The Kuwaiti health ministry confirmed on Thursday 1,501 new coronavirus cases and one death during the past 24 hours.

In a statement carried by the state news agency KUNA, the ministry’s spokesperson Dr.

Abdullah Al Sanad said that the total infections rose to 609,453, while the death toll reached 2,525.

He also noted that the total recoveries climbed to 580,056 after the confirmation of 4,253 new recoveries.
