Official CAF Prize Money For AFCON 2021 Top Teams

The official CAF prize money for the top four sides has been confirmed. The top prize showed an increase of $500 000 from the $4.5 million won by 2019 AFCON champions Algeria.
Team Senegal is the highest ranked Africa side in the FIFA rankings, with their star-studded squad including the likes of Liverpool striker Sadio Mane and Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy.
Team Senegal and Coach Aliou Cisse will take home $5 million in prize money from the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
President of Senegal also decided to gifted each member of the squad $87 000 as well as land in the country as he was proud of his squad for winning their first AFCON cup.
Runners-up:
Egypt will receive $2.75 million
Cameroon and Burkina Faso will take home $2.2 million apiece.
Gambia, Morocco, Tunisia and Equatorial Guinea  will receive $1.8 million each.
