South Africa’s Victor Gomes to referee AFCON final

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed that top South African referee Victor Gomes will officiate the final of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
The final, set for Sunday, 6 February, will take place between Africa’s top-ranked nation, Senegal, and seven-time champions Egypt.
Kick-off at the Olembe Stadium in Yaounde is scheduled for 21:00 SA time.
