Terrorists kidnap Catholic priest, kill cook in Kaduna

In Chawai, a town in the Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State, suspected militants kidnapped a Catholic Priest, Rev Fr Joseph Shekari, and killed his cook during the attack.
According to sources, the assailants assaulted the parish home on Sunday, February 6 at around 11.30 p.m.
They allegedly killed the cook with bullets before whisking the clergyman away to an unknown location.
The assailants have not yet made touch with the parish house or the abducted clergyman’s family.
