On a fateful day in Krasnodar, Southern Russia, a shocking incident unfolded as a BMW car careened off the third-floor of a shopping center parking lot, crashing onto the street below.
Law enforcement officials confirmed that the crash resulted in the tragic deaths of three individuals: the 37-year-old driver, Rafael Arakelyan, along with a woman and a 12-year-old boy who were passengers in the vehicle.
Rafael Arakelyan was not just the driver but also the proprietor of Vysota Personal Recovery Center, a facility dedicated to aiding individuals struggling with addiction issues such as alcohol, drugs, and gambling.
Investigators noted a disturbing detail: there were no signs of braking evident at the scene.
Acquaintances of Arakelyan revealed that financial disputes with his wife were a frequent source of contention, compounded by his own reported struggles with drug addiction.
